Job Overview
In this full-time role, you will provide comprehensive nurse practitioner services to promote the health and well-being of our patients. This position is essential in delivering quality care and education in women's health.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a full spectrum of outcome-based nurse practitioner services according to privileges granted by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Diagnose and manage acute conditions, chronic illnesses, and minor injuries while adhering to clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on preventive care and health maintenance through both group and individual counseling.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in staff meetings for case discussions, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proficient in performing women’s health specialty procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon management.
- Strong diagnostic abilities for common acute conditions and chronic diseases.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills to guide staff and educate patients.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Must hold certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized national organization.
- Minimum of six months of experience in women's health.
- Currently active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
